How should I handle weather delays?

Weather delays are normal. The key is early messaging and a simple routine so staff and customers stay calm.

Owner/office routine

  1. Check the schedule early (morning) and decide what is safe and realistic.
  2. Message customers early (do not wait until the last minute).
  3. Offer the next available day or a time window.
  4. Update the job/visit status so staff see one source of truth.

Operational tips

  • Keep 1 buffer slot per day run for catch-ups.
  • Wet grass can damage lawns and equipment; choose safety over speed.
